Discover Maomao in an elegant and soothing design with this collectable figurine from Banpresto’s Espresto range. Measuring approximately 21 cm, it depicts the young apothecary sitting on a large orange flower, in a delicate pose that highlights her reserved expression and distinctive appearance.
Maomao is wearing her usual outfit, consisting of a green top with wide sleeves, trimmed in white and red, and a long, deep blue skirt. Her matching green shoes complete this understated look, inspired by her daily life within the inner court. The full folds of the skirt and the slightly bent position of her legs lend the whole figure a natural and balanced appearance.
The sculpture also pays particular attention to her face, with her violet eyes, subtle freckles and dark green hair styled into short plaits adorned with coloured beads. The flower-shaped plinth, composed of large translucent petals in shades of orange and amber, lends a poetic dimension to the figurine and creates a warm contrast with the green and blue hues of her outfit.
