This collection dedicated to *Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End* brings together the characters from the anime in the Cosbi miniature style developed by Hot Toys. The display contains 8 individual blind boxes, each containing a non-articulated figurine measuring approximately 7 to 8.5 cm depending on the model, as well as a collectable card. The figures feature the characteristic proportions of the Cosbi range, with a deliberately enlarged head, a compact body and expressions that capture each character’s personality.
The series comprises eight standard models: Frieren with her staff, Frieren enjoying a dessert, Fern, Stark, Himmel, Heiter, Eisen and Übel. Their iconic outfits and accessories have been adapted to the chibi style: Frieren appears in two different scenes; Fern is holding her mage’s staff; Stark is accompanied by his large axe; Eisen retains his helmet and warrior’s armour; whilst Übel is depicted in her characteristic appearance.
In addition to these eight models, there is a ninth secret figurine featuring Frieren trapped inside a Mimic. This variant references one of the series’ recurring gags, in which the elf cannot resist the temptation to examine treasure chests despite the risk that they might actually be monsters. The Mystery figure is significantly rarer than the standard models.
Each standard figure has a stated probability of 1 in 8, whilst the Mystery Version has a probability of 1 in 48. An important feature of this complete set is that Hot Toys states that a set of 8 Blind Boxes normally contains no duplicates. The secret figure appears at random and may replace one of the eight standard models; therefore, a single display does not allow you to collect all nine variants at once.
Each figurine is packaged in an opaque box and a sealed inner pouch to preserve the element of surprise until it is opened. With their compact size, transparent base and consistent design, these Cosbi figures are designed to be displayed together on a shelf, a desk or in a display cabinet to recreate, in stylised form, several generations of Frieren adventurers.
