Itachi Uchiha was a member of the Anbu from the famous Uchiha clan of Konoha village. He killed members of his clan in what would later be known as the Uchiha Clan Massacre and deserted his village, becoming an S-ranked ninja deserter and a member of the Akatsuki who became partners with Kisame Hoshigaki.
