This Banpresto figurine depicts Jack Hammer, also known as Jack Hanma, from the Gavvlip collection. This range takes a very distinctive approach here: rather than a full-body figure, Jack is depicted as a stylised head measuring approximately 8 cm in height and 9 cm in depth, with the focus entirely on his expression and, above all, his jaw.
The face captures the fighter’s massive, exaggerated features, with a very broad skull, a particularly prominent jaw and numerous sculpted wrinkles around the eyes, cheeks and forehead. His short blond hair is rendered with a textured surface, whilst the very arched black eyebrows and the almost entirely white eyes give his expression a menacing and deliberately caricatured appearance.
The central feature of this version, however, remains his mouth. Jack sports a huge grin revealing two rows of silvery metal teeth surrounded by red gums. This spectacular set of teeth directly highlights the importance of biting in his fighting style. The side view also reveals that the jaw is sculpted separately and protrudes significantly from the rest of the face.
