MY HERO ACADEMIA – Eraser Head – MAXIMATIC 18 cm figure
From My Hero Academia, this Banpresto figurine depicts Shota Aizawa, better known by his hero name Eraser Head. Part of the MAXIMATIC range, it stands approximately 18 cm tall and features a highly dynamic pose, showing the Class 1-A teacher in the thick of the action.
Eraser Head is depicted in a very low, crouching stance, with one hand resting on the ground whilst his body appears ready to spring into action. He wears his almost entirely black hero costume, complete with his equipment belt and yellow safety goggles. His long, dark hair is swept up above his face, reinforcing the impression that his Alter is currently in use.
The main visual feature of the sculpture remains his capture weapon, consisting of long grey strands that wrap around the character and form several loops above and around his silhouette. These elements significantly expand the composition relative to his actual height and give the figurine a particularly striking sense of movement. The MAXIMATIC range thus fully captures Aizawa’s fighting style, which combines the neutralisation of Alters, mobility and the physical immobilisation of his opponents.
