The History and Lore of the Item
Yuta Okkotsu is the central protagonist of the prequel story Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and one of the few existing special-class exorcists. Initially haunted by the vengeful spirit of his childhood friend, Rika Orimoto, known as the ‘Queen of Plagues’, Yuta enrols at the Tokyo Exorcism School under the tutelage of Satoru Gojo to learn how to channel this colossal power. At first shy and fearful, he develops unwavering courage and determination to protect his classmates, becoming capable of copying his opponents’ occult techniques.
